Amnam Park Embankment

Amnam Park is a daily fishing spot packed with people even on weekdays. The Songdo overwater cable car, Busan Air Cruise, operates above your head, and a beautiful trail is formed along the coastal cliff of Amnam Park, making the place great for fishing as well as light trekking activity. Thanks to the opening of the Songdo Yonggung Suspension Bridge, which connects Amnam Park to Dongseom Island, you can now enjoy the exhilaration of walking on a shaking bridge. So cool!

Yeongdo New Embankment

The Yeongdo New Embankment is popular with professional fishermen but less known to the people of Busan. Master fishermen call the place “Sinbang,” short for new embankment (sin bangpajae in Korean). It is safe as a long plaza is formed along with it. Step up a few stairs up the stone wall to enjoy the view of the cool ocean.

Excluding the beltfish season, the place is quiet, perfect for those who prefer quiet healing. It’s also a bonus that you can sit and fish at the same time. If you’re lucky, you will get to hook up a horse mackerel or whitespotted conger.
