As one of the beautiful cultural assets, Beomeosa Temple is a quiet and cozy mountainside temple, where golden fish descended and roamed.

Walk along the Dongnaeeupseong Walled Town that protected the Dongnae-bu region during the Joseon Dynasty, and remember the site where the most ferocious battle occurred during the Imjin War. Tombs from the Gaya Kingdom were discovered in the Ancient Tombs in Bokcheon-dong under the walls, and the excavated artifacts are displayed at the Bokcheon Museum.

Jukseong Catholic Church is at the edge of the seashore rocks of Jukseong Village, like a piece of painting. The picturesque cathedral is packed with people all day who wish to take photos of the blue sky, emerald ocean, and magnificent building.

Create new memories at the Haedong Yonggungsa Temple, where the rocky mountain and pine trees envelop the temple from behind, and the blue and vast ocean enhances the entrance of the temple.

Meet a natural resting spot at Jukdo Park, located at the end of the Songjeong Beach, where students learn how to surf. Here, surfers can immerse themselves in the beauty of the ocean as they go against the rushing waves.

Walk along the large sandy beach of Haeundae Beach, and circle Dongbaekseom Island along the coastal trail. View the skyscrapers of Haeundae spread out like folding screens and Gwangandaegyo Bridge at once.

Oryukdo Islets is a comfortable place that relieves stress with the open view of the ocean and the white foam as waves crash against unique rock formation and strangely shaped stones.

Taejongdae Park is another place with a gorgeous ocean view. Enjoy the steep cliff and white waves crashing against the rocks, endless blue ocean, and the green forest of Taejongdae Park.

Climb up the Yongdusan Park, located at the center of the city, after crossing the orange Yeongdodaegyo Bridge that connects Yeongdo and Nampo-dong. At the Busan Tower Observation Deck, you can view all four directions of Busan.

Let’s head over to Gamcheon Culture Village, the Machu Picchu of Korea. Containing the history of refugees in Busan, the town is reborn into a romantic alley with installation works and colorful rooftops.

Songdo Beach, the first beach in Korea, reclaims its former glory with overwater cable cars and skywalk. It provides a clean sandy beach, coastal trail, and forest trail with thick black pine trees. Songdo Beach is a must-visit place!

Dadaepo Beach, the essence of the vast ocean, is where you can see the horizons rather than a horizontal line. This beach offers a simple scenery of the ocean and gentle mountain ranges, and is a famous spot for the most mesmerizing sunsets.

Jangnim Port, which gained the nickname of “Bunetia,” creates an exotic feel with colorful warehouse buildings that line up facing each other along with the long port.

Eulsukdo Island, where you can observe the migrating birds flying over the silver grass field with white blossoms during fall, is a beautiful island with an art gallery and culture hall, enjoying nature and culture all at once.

Gadeokdo Island, famous for the Geogadaegyo Bridge opening that connects Busan and Geojedo Island, has well-preserved nature. You will also learn about the sad history of the island hidden behind the magnificent landscape.

3Return of the Gaya Kingdom at the Bokcheon Museum / Ancient Tombs in Bokcheon-dong
