These days, the weather is still hot when the sun is out, yet staying indoors all day can feel stifling. At times like these, you may find yourself looking for somewhere to go as the sun begins to set. If you’re wondering where to go and how to spend your evening, I recommend Dadaepo Beach.
Dadaepo Beach is the perfect destination for an itinerary that stretches from sunset into the night. You can stroll along the expansive beach at sunset, then, after dark, enjoy the Gouni Eco Trail and the Sunset Fountain of Dreams, where music, water, and lights come together in harmony.

One of the most famous attractions at Dadaepo Beach is the Sunset Fountain of Dreams.
The Sunset Fountain of Dreams is a musical fountain where jets of water move in sync with music, accompanied by colorful lighting effects.

This ground-level fountain features a circular design with a diameter of 60 meters and a circumference of 180 meters, with water jets reaching a maximum height of 55 meters. It is a popular attraction enjoyed by visitors from around the world!

I recommend arriving at Dadaepo Beach a little early rather than timing your arrival just for the Sunset Fountain of Dreams Show. That’s because there are plenty of great places to explore nearby.

I especially recommend visiting Dadaepo Beach before the performance. Personally, I think the greatest charm of Dadaepo Beach is its sunset scenery.
As the sun slowly sinks beyond the expansive sandy beach, the colors of the sea and sky gradually change, creating a beautiful moment that makes you stop and take it all in.

If you visit Dadaepo Beach, don’t limit yourself to the beach—be sure to explore the nearby Gouni Eco Trail as well.
This trail offers a different atmosphere from walking while looking out at the sea. The Gouni Eco Trail is a walking path that offers close-up views of the wetlands and natural surroundings of the Dadaepo Beach area.

It’s a wonderful place to take a leisurely stroll while enjoying the scenery after sunset. In particular, as the sun begins to set, the colors of the sky blend with the reeds and wetlands to create an atmosphere unique to Dadaepo Beach.

Once it gets dark, the lights along the Gouni Eco Trail come on, adding another layer of beauty to the trail and making it an even more enjoyable place for an evening walk.
