ME World was a place of memories for Busan citizens in the past. I was full of anticipation on hearing the news about the construction of a new building on the large site. As I watched a big building being built on the large site a few days ago, I wondered what kind of space it would be.

Following The Bay 101 in Haeundae and Old Tree Market in Dadaepo, Kitchen Borie has opened Millac the Market, a complex cultural space with an area of approximately 2,330 pyeong (7,702m2). Here, you can find 'various tastes' and 'various styles', unlike the previous two places.
The red walls and hip graffiti on the entrance of this complex cultural space exudes a street art vibe. Perhaps that's why many people take photos with graffiti in the background here. The many stairs leading up to the entrance might scare you, but there are escalators and elevators on either side.

Once you enter, you will see a variety of shops along with the stores that will be opened soon, which makes me to look forward to seeing what stores will open here.
In Millac the Market, you will find many kinds of stores including restaurants, cafes, clothing stores, and jewelry stores, so simply browsing around makes time fly. Since some brands operate as pop-up stores for a set period of time, it would be a good idea to check in advance.

In addition to seeing new brands, you can also see brands that catch your eye with their sophisticated interiors, so just looking at them makes you pleasant. You should visit Millac the Market if you’re wondering where to go. All your worries will soon be gone. Or rather, with so many different brands, it can be difficult to choose where to start.
Although looking around a large area for a long time can be exhausting, there are resting spaces throughout the area, which seem to be a design with the customers in mind.

If you go straight inside passing by many stores, you'll find Busking Square, which can be said to be the signature space of Millac the Market. It's a place where you can sit on the stand-type stairs and enjoy coffee or beer while taking a break.
You’ll pick up your camera as soon as you see the panoramic view of Gwangandaegyo Bridge and Millak Port through the wide glass window, and taking a shot at the top or in the middle of the stairs can give you a really pretty picture.
The interior is rather dark, so it is better to visit in the afternoon rather than in the morning and in the evening rather than in the afternoon.
Millac the Market is a great place to visit if you enjoy complex cultural spaces or if you are looking for a place to go near Gwangalli.
