The area surrounding Mangmibeonyeong-ro, Mangmi-dong, Suyeong-gu, Busan, is known as “Mangmidangil Street.” Cafés, flower shops, and restaurants were gradually established around the apartment complex near Suyeong Historical Park, which gave the area the name of Mangmidangil Street after the village. Cafés are not lined up but are scattered around the alley, making it a fun place for visitors to walk around searching for a destination. Many of the cafés in Mangmidangil Street are hidden gems because of their unique and exciting food.

A delicious dessert is one more reason to drink coffee. There is a certain café in Mangmidangil Street that sells the most delicious desserts. The private home turned shop was renovated into a café with a breathtakingly beautiful exterior. Among its many desserts, it is famous for its cakes that complement deep-flavored coffee and delicate tea. In particular, the nutty and mild-flavored peanut cake is a favorite. Another interesting thing about the store is that they do not showcase desserts all at once; instead, they allow customers to taste the ingredients as fresh as they can be.

If you want to try something out of the ordinary at Mangmidangil Street, try the artistic rice cake shop that has unique and fun products. The shop with a cute exterior makes bite-size mugwort mochi and strawberry mochi with fresh strawberries. You may also want to buy sweet red bean jelly as a gift, a perfect match with coffee, which is individually packaged for sanitary purposes. Delivery is also available.

F1963, which was formerly a factory, is a complex art and culture space located at the end of Mangmidangil Street. Enjoy coffee, books, and art exhibitions in one space and watch various performances. If you want more than a café that only serves coffee, stop by F1963.
