Where did the BIE inspection team actually visit? Follow the 2030 Expo Busan travel course which we will tell you about from now on. It is also a course where you can meet the Seven Bridges, which crosses Seobusan and Dongbusan and connects Busan's seven-colored sea.

Busan North Port (a proposed expo site)

Busan Station is the place where many people take their first excited steps on their trip to Busan. Also, it is where they promise to come again, as they regret having to leave so soon. The BIE inspection team also traveled from Seoul to Busan by KTX. The Busan Station Plaza, filled with cheering crowds welcoming visitors, still vividly conveys the enthusiasm for the World Expo in Busan.

The overpass from Busan Stationis directly connected to the Waterfront Park at the North Port. The North Port is the venue for the 2030 Expo in Busan. The friendly water park facing the sea has an easy walking trail along the waterway, a floor fountain, and a lawn, making it an excellent place to spend leisure time. Take a walk while feeling the cool sea breeze, enjoy a picnic, and feel refreshed. It would be nice to spend the day enjoying the night view at the Healing Campground at Busan Port, where you can experiencing healing camping in the heart of the city.

Gangseo Shinho Park

'Is it possible to experience tidal flats in Busan too?' This place is not well known, and few people know about it yet! Thanks to this, Gangseo Shinho Park is a place where you can have a quiet and comfortable time. The wide tidal flat from Shinho Park to Sodam Park with a mini breakwater is rare because it is not a common sight in Busan. It is fun to let your feet sink into the tidal flats while walking. Catch clams, crabs, and other living creatures while feeling the soft texture of the tidal flats with your feet. There is constant laughter here and there, as visitors follow the crawling crabs.

After an exciting tidal flat experience, try a local delicacy, and eat Galmi Clams at the nearby Myeongji Seonchang Hoe Town. The name comes from the fact that the clam resembles a seagull's beak. Grilled Galmi Clams with Samgyeopsal/Grilled Pork Belly and Shabu-shabu with various vegetables in broth are popular.

Eulsukdo Island

Eulsukdo Island, another island in Busan, is a place where you can see the Nakdonggang River crossing the wide grassland and migratory birds flying vigorously over the reeds. Thanks to its fertile soil and abundant food, it is considered one of the best habitats for migratory birds. The vast landscape of the Nakdonggang River spreads out through the glass window that fills one side of the Nakdong Estuary Eco-Center wall, and you can closely observe wetlands and migratory birds in real time.

A 10-minute walk from the Nakdong Estuary Eco Center, a building with green plants covering the entire wall, is the Museum of Contemporary Art Busan. The Museum of Contemporary Art Busan, which has a vertical garden designed not to harm the natural scenery of Eulsukdo Island, is nature-friendly as if it had been here from the beginning. Eulsukdo Island's attraction is not only visiting the art museum, but also picnicking in the surrounding gardens and ecological park.

Eulsukdo Eco Park, which the BIE inspection team visited for the first time, is a true place of coexistence that shows a sustainable tomorrow through harmony between nature and people.

At the entrance of the beach, the coastal park greets visitors with the largest sunset fountain in the world, presenting a magnificent sight with its colorful lighting, music, and dancing fountain. Amidst the vast blue sea of Songdo, the Songdo Sea Cable Car crosses the sky like a painting and catches the eye. In addition to the Songdo Sea Cable Car, with its natural environment, Songdo Beach is a place of clean sand, clean water, and the Cloud Trails, making it a pleasant resting place for Busan residents and travelers.

The sparkling night view of Songdo Beach presents a lot of attractions of the night sea. Busanhangdaegyo Bridge

The Busanhangdaegyo Bridge is a huge suspension bridge that crosses the North Port. If you use the access road to Yeongdo, you go up the high bridge that shows you dizzying yet thrilling scenery. Travelers finally realize that Busan is a port city when they pass the Busanhangdaegyo Bridge because docks and huge ships that cannot be seen in the city center appear before their eyes. The scenes of numerous ships diligently loading and unloading containers is like seeing an unfamiliar city in a foreign country.

The colorful lights that magically light up in the evening make the moment even more special. This is a course where you can fully enjoy the diversity of Busan Port.

UN Memorial Cemetery

As the world's only UN military cemetery, UN Memorial Cemetery comforts the souls of war veterans. The flags of 22 countries that participated in the Korean War are raised. In addition to the graves of the fallen soldiers of the Koren Armed Forces, cemeteries, memorial towers, monuments, and memorial halls for seven countries, including Canada and the United States, have been created. Visiting the UN Memorial Cemetery, the inspection team honored the sacrifice and dedication of the UN's war dead and conveyed their will to realize peace through the expo.

Why don't we remember the young people who set foot in a foreign land to protect the small country of Korea 70 years ago, remind ourselves that we exist because of them, and express our gratitude with a reverent attitude? Let's also tour the United Nations Peace Memorial Hall, a space of gratitude and remembrance. Descendants who did not experience the Korean War can share precious memories of UN veterans and develop a sense of gratitude here.

The Busan Cinema Center, a landmark representing Busan, is a complex cultural space where you can watch movies as well as enjoy various movie-related programs. In October, when one of Asia's best film festivals, the Busan International Film Festival, is held, it is full of audiences who want to see films from all over the world. The opening ceremony, which greets the star actors ifromthe movies with a densely packed audience in the magnificent outdoor theater of the cinema center, adds splendor to the huge screen and colorful lights shining from the ceiling. The Big Roof's LED lights and the outdoor plaza's roof show off the art of light with bright colors every night. The inspection team invited to the K-Culture Night event at the Busan Cinema Center also enjoyed the Korean Wave by watching various K-POP performances.

Gwangalli Beach

Gwangalli Beach is a place crowded with excited travelers all year round. Gwangalli has endless attractions besides the white sandy beach and the blue sea: a variety of delicious restaurants to satisfy the taste buds of people from all over the country, cafes overlooking the sea, and unique spaces throughout the alleys.

It is also a place where you can enjoy a beautiful night view in a sophisticated urban atmosphere. Moreover, you can go to the beach every night to enjoy the joyous feast of light and the night view of Gwangandaegyo Bridge, where colorful and beautiful lights embroider the night sea with different colors. The final schedule of the inspection team was also held in Gwangalli, where a fireworks show wishing for the Busan Expo beautifully lit up the night sky.

The drone show held every Saturday is also a must-see. Nearly 300 drones rise into the air and draw pictures on the night sky with brushes of light. It has established itself as a new favorite among visitors to Gwangalli, so make sure to catch the show.
