**Gwangalli Yellowtail Festival**
May 10th ~ May 12nd, 2024

Each May, the Gwangalli Yellowtail Festival is held against the background of Gwangandaegyo Bridge to succeed in the tradition of “Eobang,” or fishers’ cooperative organization.
As thousands of people watch, the Naval Force Commander of the Gyeongsangjwa-do Parade announces the opening of the festival and the Jwasuyeong Eobang Nori, which is a play by fishers before heading out to fish to heighten the excitement.
People gather to watch the guards changing ceremony at the newly reconstructed Suyeongseong Fortress. Participants who have succeeded in catching fish with their bare hands embody the excitement and fun of the festival.
