Millak Waterside Park, a popular summer retreat for the public.
Opened in 1997, the Millak Waterside Park has been loved by Busan’s citizens since even before the establishment of the Marine City and Gwangandaegyo Bridge. With an open view of the endless sea and blue skies, the park has served as a relaxation space for everyone while the surrounding environment has kept changing with the times.

Its open view of the clear blue sea leaves visitors feeling reinvigorated and refreshed. The waterside park is a quiet place where visitors can enjoy the view of the sea amid a tranquil atmosphere during the day and soak up the dynamic yet romantic atmosphere at night. In particular, many people come to the park to avoid tropical nights in summer, making it more popular at night than during the day. The lights of the Marine City and Gwangandaegyo Bridge shine on the nighttime sea like the countless stars glimmering in the night sky.
Held every autumn, the Busan Fireworks Festival attracts many people to the Millak Waterside Park. Visitors can enjoy the fantastic fireworks that light up the night sky and get a closer look at the fireworks from the park rather than the beach.

The Millak Waterside Park boasts the food town as well as various convenient facilities. Visitors can enjoy a relaxing time with a coffee at a café against the backdrop of the sea or taste fresh seafood in the food stall town.
If the food has satisfied your appetite, you are recommended to take a stroll slowly along the trail stretching from the waterside park to Gwangalli Beach. Forget your worries by immersing yourself in the splendid scenery of Gwangandaegyo Bridge, whose lights change color every second, and the refreshing sea breeze along the trail. Many visitors enjoy riding a bike along the park’s bike path. During the day, you can rent a bike free of charge from the bicycle rental stand, which is located in front of Samik Beach Town Apartment 301 near Gwangalli Beach, simply by presenting your ID card.
The Millak Waterside Park charms visitors with the “healing” energy of the sea by day and its energetic atmosphere at night, making it an ideal place for creating beautiful memories at the seaside.
