Enjoy the “MUNGKOK” TEMPLE STAY SUMMER FESTIVAL at Hongbeopsa Temple in Busan!

Hongbeopsa Temple offers a dog-friendly MUNGKOK Temple Stay. The spacious 12.2-acre lawn is a great place for your pooch to run around and relax.
On July 27, the temple launched its summer festival, Have a Mung-Ter-Pool Day, an upgraded version of the existing temple day program that combines fun water activities with a Buddhist experience.

The highlight of the “Mung-Ter-Pool” program is water time, where trained dog handlers are on hand to ensure safe doggy fun and splashing.
They offer muscle-relaxing massages and water desensitization training so your dog doesn’t get overly nervous. They also consider pets and owners, not forcing them into the pool if they don’t like water.

As part of the temple stay program, it also includes Buddhist activities. You can eat healthy temple food and make couple prayer beads with your pooch. It’s also a great opportunity to take a photo of you and your dog with your new prayer beads.

The “Have a Mung-Ter-Pool Day” program runs until September 14 and takes place every Saturday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Bookings are on a first-come, first-served basis on the page below, so hurry up if interested!
