The western Busan was not well known among tourists compared to the eastern Busan where Haeundae and Gwangalli are located. However, it has recently gained popularity, thanks to SNS users who nicknamed Jangnim Port as “Bunezia,” Busan’s Venezia (Venice), and have been taking great photos here.
Walking along colorful signboards on the street, you will encounter Jangnim Port, which offers beautiful scenery of the port lined up with boats, the narrow and long-looking sea, the blue sky, and pretty buildings. Its tourist guide map shows the area, which has the shape of a “C,” allowing visitors to easily tour round the port.
Jangnim Port has its famous photo zone called “Personal Color Zone,” which has the building with nine doors, each of which is painted in a different color. You can take incredible photos in this photo zone. The first floor of the building is the warehouse used by fishermen for storage or direct sales stand.
After taking photos on the first floor, you can explore many cozy spaces on the second floor such as the Children’s Play Town where children can play and take a rest; the Food & Drink Town, which offers diverse food, tea, and fish cake dishes; the Atelier, which provides experience activities; and the souvenir shop where you can find various interesting souvenir products.
You can take diverse photos of many different faces of Jangnim Port, depending on the location and time. While taking leisure on the second floor, you can fully observe and appreciate different views of the port with the sky, the sea, the sunset, and lights from the buildings and streets.
On the second floor, drone shooting is also available, allowing you to take the entire area of Jangnim Port in an aerial view. Then, you’ll find a bridge that links to the other side of the port.
If you stand in front of this bridge, you’ll find a magnificent view of Jangnim Port over which the endless horizon of the sea is seen.
Jangnim Port, which used to be a small and quiet port known for the production of laver, weakened its function when the industrial complex was established. But now, the port has been transformed into a charming place for its colorful scenery that allows you to discover different “colors” of yourself.
