If you are on a strict budget or want to experience the local transit system, you can take a mix of subway and local buses.

- What you need: A T-money transit card & VERY comfortable walking shoes.

Step 1: The Subway (Line 1)
- Board: Head into Busan Station and take Line 1 (Orange Line) heading towards Choryang.
- Ride: 9 stops.
- Get off at: City Hall Station (시청역).

Step 2: The Local "Village Bus" (마을버스)
Note: Village buses are small, green local buses that navigate narrow neighborhood roads. You can tap your T-money card when boarding, just like on the subway.
