Busan is blessed with natural resources composed of the sea, mountains, and the river. Recently, the Nakdong River Eco Tour Cruise is becoming a popular attraction of Busan.
Since its opening in August 2014, the Nakdong River Eco Tour Cruise has been providing the joy of discovering Busan’s nature by cruising along the Nakdonggang River.
This cruise ship with the capacity of about 30 people has four landing places—Eulsukdo Island, Hwamyeong-dong, Daedong-myeon in Gimhae, and Mulgeum-eup in Yangsan. For precise information, please refer to the website of the route and landing places as they depend on the day and time.
The cruise guide provides an explanation service about the history and ecosystem of the Nakdonggang River. While listening to the guide’s information, you’ll be impressed by the journey of the river, which originates from Taebaek, Gangwon-do Province.
The tour cruise consists of two floors—the first is the passenger’s quarters, and the second is an open space where you can enjoy fresh breezes and grass scent along the river. In particular, as the speakers are installed in places of the ship, you can listen to the guide’s explanation anywhere freely.
The major course of the Nakdong River Eco Tour Cruise starts from Eulsukdo Island and passes through Daedong-myeon in Gimhae and returns Eulsukdo Island. You may find the view of the river from the land familiar, but that of the land from the river is a lot different. Starting from Eulsukdo Island, the cruise goes toward Daedong-myeon, Gimhae via Hadan and Hwamyeong. You will enjoy Busan’s urban landscape harmonized with its beautiful natural scenery while passing by the riverside road, and the Hwamyeong New Town.
In particular, the biggest attraction of the Nakdong River Eco Tour Cruise is you can observe migratory birds at close range, as the Nakdonggang River is known as their habitat. The scene of birds flying low on the water and enjoying the warm sunlight on the tree branch creates a peaceful landscape. If you want to observe them more closely, you can use the telescope installed on the cruise.
If you’re tired of walking and running on your trip, why don’t you take a cruise for a change?
The Nakdong River Eco Tour Cruise invites you to have an unusual tour experience!
