[9th Busan Global Webtoon Festival]

The 9th Busan Global Webtoon Festival, Korea’s premier webcomic event, will be held from September 25 to 28, 2025, at the Busan Cultural Contents Complex.
This year, the festival debuts a new concept—Webtoon Premiere—where audiences can be the first to discover upcoming titles before they’re released.
The opening ceremony takes place on September 25 at 5:30 p.m. at Sohyang Theater Shinhan Card Hall. Visitors can enjoy special exhibitions, interactive programs, and hands-on content that make the event meaningful not only for fans, but also for creators and industry professionals.
Blending the present and future of webtoons, the festival is firmly establishing itself as a global hub for content exchange in Busan.
