MUSEUM 1

On the first day of our trip, we arrived in Haeundae where MUSEUM 1 is located. It’s a contemporary art museum dedicated to media arts founded by Kunst 1, an arts organization that opened in August 2019. The 700-square-meter split-level building features 80 million LED lights on the floors, ceilings, and walls, offering a surreal experience that immerses the visitors in the world of arts. In a nutshell, it introduces artworks that can be used, applied, and experienced in real life. Thanks to the ever-changing nature of media art, you can experience different spaces in one place.

Haeundae Blueline Park (Beach Train)

Busan is best known for the sea. Among all the beautiful ocean views the city has to offer, Haeundae Beach is one of the best and the view of the beach seen through the train window is nothing short of remarkable. The Haeundae Blueline Park Beach Train departs from Mipo Station and stops at Dalmaji Tunnel, Cheongsapo Station, Daritdol Observatory, Gudeokpo Port, and Songjeong Station, with a total travel time of about 25 minutes. You can board the train on a first-come, first-served basis. The Beach Train is something you don’t want to miss while you’re in Haeundae.

Yacht Tour

If you want to enjoy the views of both the city and the ocean at the same time, hop on a yacht for a tour at Suyeongman Bay Yachting Center. Departure times and points vary by company, but most tours last about an hour. Yachts sail around Haeundae and Gwangalli, serving snacks to passengers on the board. There are daytime, sunset, and nighttime tours, but we recommend the nighttime tour because it’s when you can see the night view of the coastline of Busan and the brightly lit skyscrapers.

Kakao Friends are some of the most loved emojis in Korea. Ryan Holiday in Busan is a media shop where you can enjoy various contents and desserts in the shape of cute emojis. At the back of the Grand Josun Busan is the entrance with Kakao Friends emojis. If you go down the stairs, you will find a free experience center on the first and second basement levels! There's also a paid space called "Ryan My favorite things," offering even more diverse experience, themed zones, and photo zones.

Korean Cooking Class Bapsang in Busan

Korean food is an essential part of the Korean culture. Here's a chance to learn how to make and try some Korean foods that are known for its rich flavors and addictive taste. H.o Dance Studio

Dance academies are booming in Korea as K-pop has taken over the hearts of Gen Zers around the world. One of them is H.o Dance Studio, which has gone viral not only for its one-day classes for foreign tourists who want to learn K-pop dance, but also for dance enthusiasts, aspiring celebrities, and dancers. Modeled after Japanese dance academies with their systematic approach to teaching dance, it has a grand and stylish exterior with four practice rooms of a total of seven, and even a snack bar on the first floor. Each region has its own specialty bread, such as potato bread in Chuncheon and chocolate pie in Jeonju. Located at Gwangalli Beach, iam_busan is a store that sells representative products of Busan. Several local brands of Busan run five to seven corners per season at the store, which has a totally new line of products for each season. The store sells Busan carongs, Busan sand, sand bead ice cream (seasonal), and slushies. It's a perfect place to buy gifts for your family and friends. Let's go to iam_busan is the place to go if you want some Busan's signature products.

Aniplus

Let's go to the merchandise shop run by Aniplus, the leading anime channel in Korea. It is located on the 9th floor of Samjeong Tower in Seomyeon, Busan. The spacious store displays a wide variety of merchandise in every isle. Many people come here for their favorite anime merchandise. Aniplus is currently running a collaboration cafe with Hololive and Aniplus. In the store, you might have to fight the urge to touch the anime characters.

Poset

The alley in which Poset is located is behind NC Department Store and is home to a variety of tool, parts, mechanical, and electrical shops. The traces of the building's long history inside and out create a warm feeling. With the postcard works of various artists on display, it's like walking into a well-organized exhibition. One area of the store is set up with tables and writing utensils so you can write on your postcards right away. Capturing your heartfelt feelings at the moment on a favorite postcard is a great way to add memories to your life.

Daonnaru

If there is a hanok village in Bukchon, Seoul and Jeonju, there is Daonnaru in Busan. Hanok cafes are very popular among foreigners looking to experience the beauty of Korea. The architectural design award winner Daonaru in Gangseo-gu shows the essence of hanok interiors with its rafters and girders. Even the small decorative items, traditional teas, and special Korean desserts such as grilled rice cakes look and taste great in the most popular hanok café in Busan. The café starts a campfire late at night for the visitors to have a soothing experience of tranquility while gazing at the fire.
