Yangjijip

Oryun-dong is the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely meal with your family away from the city. It is only a 10-minute drive from Jangjeon Station on Busan Metro Line 1. However, once you enter the village, you won't be feeling like you are in a big city. The small town is surrounded by mountains and lakes, which make you feel as if you have entered the depths of the mountains. Located near the Hoedong Reservoir, a source of drinking water for Busan residents, nature has been well preserved as a source water protection area for many years. The trail along the Hoedong Reservoir is one of the most popular walking trails.

An attractive yard decorated as a café catches the eye of passersby in “Yangjijip” near Oryun-dong Center. The restaurant offers local food like duck bulgogi, braised chicken, and spicy catfish stew, and there are several rooms for you to enjoy a family meal. The annex, decorated like an outdoor camping site, has a different vibe. Several rooms in the annex are pet-friendly. Sweet and spicy seasoning makes duck meat soft and flavorful. Delicate dishes on the table stimulate your appetite in summer. Above all, it is nice to enjoy a meal with your pet in a separate place, so you don’t have to be too careful.

Odette Seomyeon

Odette, a popular dog-friendly restaurant in Hallim, Jeju Island, has also opened in Busan. Odette Seomyeon is located on Jeonpo Café Street, which is still popular among hipsters. It is painted in calm colors and decorated with photos and cute ornaments. Like Odette Hallim, it also allows you to dine with your pet. Medium and large dogs are often restricted even in pet-friendly restaurants, but Odette Seomyeon offers a separate rooftop area for dogs over 10 kg. A reservation is recommended on the rooftop since there aren't many tables.

Odette Seomyeon offers a great meal and good vibes of Jeju Island. Signature dishes are pink cream udon with red-banded lobster and special sauce, red-banded lobster Aglio e olio, and butter-grilled Jeju abalone risotto. Sous vide Jeju black pork tenderloin steak is also popular. The meat is so tender, and it melts in your mouth. The special sauce goes well with it too. You can also order sous vide Jeju black pork tenderloin steak for dogs.

Roman Villa

There is a pet-friendly brunch café on Gwangalli Beach, which is crowded with summer visitors. It is “Roman Villa” located in a place with a view of Gwangalli's sea. As the name suggests, it has a European vibe. It feels like you're in a cafe in a European alley with exotic ornaments and a calm atmosphere. As all the walls, tables, and chairs are achromatic, the space is perfect for taking pictures with vivid clothing on. Only dogs weighing less than 7 kg on a leash are allowed due to limited space.

Roman Villa is a brunch café serving all-day brunch. They have brunch plates, French toast, sandwiches, croissants, etc. The brunch plate, served with toasts, sausage, bacon, fried eggs, tomatoes, and deep-fried potatoes, is very popular. But do not miss the burrata French toast with fresh raspberries. A blend of maple syrup, raspberries, and burrata cheese fills your mouth with sweet, sour, and salty tastes in just one bite, leaving your plate empty in no time. With a glass of an iced Americano at Roman Villa, the heat in midsummer isn't too bad.
