Kid Kideuk Water Park in Busan Children’s Grand Park
The Busan Children's Grand Park, with its trails and parks centered around the Seongjigok Reservoir, is a perfect summer retreat for kids. Cool air greets you as soon as you enter the forested park. Keeping your eyes closed while cooling off with the cool breeze blowing along the valley will make the sweltering heat vanish in no time.
The Kid Kideuk Water Park, isn't the biggest, but it has plenty of rides, floor fountains and slides that kids will love. Its soft, non-slip flooring prevents children from falling and getting hurt. Lifeguards are present and supervising the safety of children. There is also a relaxing area for adults nearby the water play area for children. It offers free admission. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is closed on Mondays and rainy days.
Water Plaza in Busan Citizens Park
There are also Water Plaza for kids in the Busan Citizens Park, a representative park in Busan. It is slightly larger than Kid Kideuk Water Park in Busan Children’s Grand Park and has more aquatic play equipment.
It is mainly for preschoolers, but adults can also enjoy together. The two most popular are the water bucket that fills and pours down the water and the floor fountain that soars to the sky. Water Plaza runs every two hours for 25 minutes from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekdays and every hour on holidays. It is closed on Mondays.
And there’s a white sand beach across the street. Beach umbrellas and sandy shores make you feel like you are on Haeundae Beach in the middle of the city. Between the white sand beach and Water Plaza is a seating area with roofs and tables where you can take a break or have some snacks with your children during break times.
Children’s Water Park in Millak Waterside Park
The first water park for kids in Busan is located in Millak Waterside Park, which offers a view of Haeundae Marine City and Gwangandaegyo Bridge from a distance. Kid Kideuk Water Park in Busan Children’s Grand Park and Water Plaza in Busan Citizens Park are mainly for preschoolers, but Children’s Water Park in Millak Waterside Park is also available for younger grades in elementary school.
In the middle of the water park, several large water tanks continuously discharge water bombs that keep adults and kids cool.
Its facilities include rest areas, changing rooms, restrooms, as well as cooling fog so you can enjoy water play to the fullest. Behind the water play area, there is a small but dense forest where you can rest. Hours of operation are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and there’s a 20-minute break every hour. It is closed on Mondays and rainy days.
